Google Expeditions have hit the education scene in grand style.  As online educators, we delve deeper to determine its relevance to the online learning environment.  

    Expeditions are being used in schools around the country, however, they can also be easily implemented in an online atmosphere as well.  All teachers and students need is the Google Expedition app downloaded to their smartphone (or tablet if they don't have a smartphone) and they can access the more than 500 expeditions.  Teachers can direct students to certain expeditions that pertain to a subject they are learning or students could use it as a research tool.  This can be done asynchonously as individuals, or synchronously with the whole class participating online through Zoom together.
